Sorry wes for being mean and all. Didn't have a good day. You deserve hapiness and I'm happy for you two. But still, Spike saved the world and he doesn't have any friend or girlfriend. You think it's fair? He has a soul now and he deserve some kindness. I don't get why Angel is so mean with him or something.

Saving the world is one thing.

Whether or not those who surround find you likeable is another.

In Spike's case, the fact that he did the former hasn't really changed the personality traits that make him an arrogant, selfish, unlikeable, and therefore friendless jerk in the eyes of those unswayed by notions of whether or not he's "romantic."

Just saying.
